I always do a lot of research on my projects. I took a deep dive into Barbecue culture to learn about all the different sauces across the many regions of the US. From the white BBQ sauce of Alabama to the black sauce used for lamb in Kentucky to the bbq fish of Florida. All this variety made for a very fun assignment for Lucky Peach on the Regional Styles of BBQ in the USA.
